This 12 page paper examines the widely held perceptive that international trade has lead to the exploitation of workers in developing nations. The writer undertakes a comprehensive evaluation of this perception looking at evidence that supports and rejects the idea of exploitation. The paper argues that exploitation is not taking place when wages are considered in their local context or in the wider context of the development stage of the different countries economies.
